Background
Wawa is one of the most recognized convenience retailers along the East Coast, serving millions of customers with fresh food, beverages, fuel services, and financial convenience. With more than 1,000 stores and over 40,000 employees, Wawa maintains a substantial corporate infrastructure supporting technology, data, digital marketing, and enterprise operations.
The Challenge
Wawa came to Juno with approximately 64 open positions — all at different stages in the recruitment process — primarily across the technology and digital marketing teams. The internal talent acquisition function needed additional capacity, specialized sourcing, and a more structured approach to keeping roles moving forward.
Juno’s Approach
To meet the scale and complexity of the project, Juno deployed a blended team: two Talent Consultants and two Sourcing Specialists, fully embedded within Wawa’s internal TA structure. The team provided end‑to‑end support, from requisition intake and candidate sourcing to screening, process management, and offer facilitation. The initial six‑month engagement was designed to accelerate hiring for priority roles — and due to performance, extended significantly.
