About the Client:
Wawa operates a chain of more than 1000 convenience retail stores across the east coast employing more than 40,000 individuals. Wawa is your all day, every day stop for fresh, built-to-order foods, beverages, coffee, fuel services, and surcharge-free ATMs. As a privately-owned, employee-owned company, Wawa provides our team with quality benefits, training, opportunities for advancement, and support.
The Challenge:
Wawa came to us with an estimated 64 positions open, all at varying stages of the recruitment process primarily within the technology and digital marketing departments.
The Solution:
To fully tackle this project, we deployed a full lifecycle recruitment and sourcing solution to augment and support the client’s internal talent acquisition team. Two Juno Talent Consultants and two Sourcing Specialists joined the internal Wawa team for an initial 6-month minimum engagement. (Spoiler alert: due to our success, this project extended to last for over a year to support their continued growth.)
