Background

Chatham Financial, a global fintech organization with approximately 800 employees, entered a period of strategic evolution under a newly appointed Chief People Officer. As part of leveling up the people function, Chatham sought to invest in both leadership and specialist roles within HR — roles that would guide talent strategy, build organizational capability, and support upcoming systems implementations.

The Challenge

The client needed to fill multiple newly created roles across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, and HR Technology. These hires were integral to modernizing the HR function, supporting growth, and preparing the organization for a Workday HRIS implementation. Each role required niche expertise, strong stakeholder alignment, and the ability to operate within a highly collaborative culture.

Juno’s Approach

Juno partnered closely with the new CPO and aligned search strategies across four engagements, using a mix of contained, contingent, and contract models depending on the scope and urgency. The HR & TA practice team leveraged passive networks, targeted outreach into specialized HR talent pools, and strong employer branding to attract mission-aligned candidates. Searches emphasized cultural alignment, strategic capability, and fluency within scaling, global HR teams.

Lasting Impact

The new HR leadership structure and specialist roles positioned Chatham to execute its people strategy more effectively, support Workday implementation milestones, and continue building a high-performing, scalable HR function. The company has since re-engaged Juno for additional talent needs.
